About Us

A Concierge Veterinary Practice.  We bring the Vet’s office to you!

It is a way to get the expert care that you want for your beloved pet in a less stressful and more familiar environment.

What we do

The Consultation begins long before we get to your house. It begins with a comprehensive review of your pets’ medical history. Dr. Maks will review their current afflictions, medications, treatments that have worked and not worked as well as their vaccination and deworming history.

We take your animals health care very seriously and invite you to become a part of our Village Vet community.

On our first visit, we will sit down, review and embellish this information so that we know all about the way your pet lives, their nutritional status, current conditions or illness, and your expectations for their quality of life.

We then complete a thorough physical exam. Dr. Maks enjoys the latest technology so do not be surprised if you are looking at your pets ear drum on a computer screen or looking into the back of their eye through the powerful PanOptic Opthalmoscope.

A home consultation allows for the proper observation of your pet in their normal environment allowing identification of any areas of concern.

This complete physical examination is what allows Dr. Maks to determine what the next step might be – either an immediate treatment plan or some further sleuthing using tests like bloodwork, cytology or culture. We will use our discussion about your pets’ life circumstances, risks and exposures to develop a deworming and vaccination plan that is tailored to their life style and our environment here in South Delta or wherever they may travel to.
